About The Conference

 

First organised by the United States Navy (USN) in 2001, the annual Asia-Pacific Submarine Conference (APSC) has provided a platform to cultivate and maintain strong relationship among the existing and prospective Asia-Pacific submarine-operating navies and international submarine rescue organisations. It aims to enhance regional Submarine Escape and Rescue (SMER) cooperation as well as sharing information on submarine safety.
